Campobello Island is located in southwestern New Brunswick, Canada, accessible from Lubec, Maine via a bridge. Campobello is known for its striking beauty, unique lighthouses, vast beaches and abundant wildlife. The cottage, referred lovingly to as CAMPO (a combination of the Maine concept of Camp and of the island name itself), is waterfront tucked in a quiet cove. It is off-grid and is the ideal place to connect with the rhythms of nature and to access reflection, creativity, and solitude. We believe sometimes dedicated time away from “normal life” is the tonic for reconnection to self and creativity—even if you aren’t making. The cottage is an ideal spot to tune into that inner landscape as well as the magnificent landscapes of the island itself. Watch seals from the back “yard”. Make strong coffee on the stove. Swim off the rocks. Hike the beautiful paths minutes away from cottage. Light candles and listen to the radio at night. That’s what we do.
